Delete your One Throw account
One Throw is a coaching app operated by Throws U, LLC. This page explains how to delete your One Throw account, and what happens to the information connected to it.
In the app
- Coaches: Settings → Account and Billing → Delete Account
- Athletes: Settings → Personal Settings → Delete Account
Without the app
Email support@onethrow.app and ask us to delete your account. Please send it from the email address on your One Throw account, so we know the request is yours. We will delete the account and reply to tell you it is done.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in identity, so the account can no longer be used
- Your personal profile details — name, email address, birth date, gender, height, weight and profile photo
- Your membership of your team
- Videos you uploaded that were never saved by a coach or used in an analysis
- Analysis requests you sent that a coach has not yet answered, and their videos
- Your events and personal records
- The cues coaches wrote for you, and the list of drills assigned to you
What your team keeps
- Analyses coaches made of you, and videos a coach saved to you. These are part of the team's coaching records.
- Messages you sent in conversations, so the other person keeps their history. They are no longer shown with your name.
- For coaches: the drills you added to your team's library, including their videos, and the cues you wrote for athletes. These belong to the team.
Deleting your account removes your identity from One Throw rather than erasing every trace of you. If you need a fuller erasure than this, say so in your email and we will tell you what is possible.
For coaches: deleting your account does not cancel a team subscription.
Deleting something without deleting your account
- A message you sent: press and hold it in the conversation and choose Delete. It is permanently deleted for both people.
- An analysis or a video of you: ask the team's admin, or email support@onethrow.app.
- Your events and personal records (athletes): remove them in Settings → Events and Records.
